Your link to additional information? doesn’t seem to be working.

It’s a nice looking contraption but, all are stuck on batch feeding. Someone needs to think outside the box. Continual flow is only possible way they will ever be viable on a commercial or? large scale. Just a Suggestion.

  • heald269 says:

I think more organic feed stock would raise the BTU content of the Syngas. Sewer sludge after a treatment plant would be ideal. Batch feeding is kind of a serious hender. I would use a hydraulic ram and piston to create a material pug in a tapered inlet on a continuous stroke basis replacing the material plug every stroke with new. Would even rotate the retort if that’s what it is. In a steel oven on casters with fins to tumble the material through. Continual flow of? shredded MSW ideal. Good Luk

I checked the web site and its down, can explain the process in words,
what happpens to the shaveings to what happens? to produce a fuel?

  • eloid777 says:

    your making Ammonia? NH3 gas

  • mountain177 says:

what type of engine? is that

  • MsTruthMatters says:

@madfighter56 A 2 stroke engine won’t work for this type of application because there is no liquid fuel with which to mix the oil. The engine? would run for a minute or two and seize due to lack of lubrication.

  • xizeroone says:

ever thought of using a thermo pile to help? add to the power generated >

  • AlternativePowerMan says:

Any videos of this thing? running the generator under load? How much load can you get the generator to power?

  • texascommtech says:

When the label on the generator says it is “safe for TVs and computers,” that means that the generator? produces a relatively “filtered and pure” SINEWAVE, rather than just a SQUAREWAVE. Either way it is still AC, but there are many electronic devices that MUST have a PURE, FILTERED sinewave, because they are manufactured to where they REQUIRE that type of AC power. Cheaper, less sophisticated generators do not have circuitry to deliver a pure, filtered, well-regulated AC output.

  • asimov13647 says:

How does the unit? throttle the engine for varying electrical loads?

Free Energy is real and its here? but the coverup is strong, if u are interested in a REAL free energy machine then

just go to LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and download the blueprints ,it is probably the ONLY working magnet

motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

  • nehockc says:

My dad is getting ready to start grinding a new batch of corn meal using my grandmothers single piston putt putt engine and gris mill.? I have asked him to allow me to file the entire process and I will post the video here for everyone to enjoy!!

  • madfighter56 says:

Cant you just use a 2? stoke??

  • grizz2225 says:

Maybe it’s a dumb question but why doesn’t anyone in these gasifier projects use the exhaust from the engine to heat? the gasifier. I mean you’d still have to warm it up, but you could save on the wood fuel.

  • nehockc says:

My Father is getting ready to install the generator and the transfer switch that will switch it over to the generator instead of the power company. The last image on webpage should be the generator mounted.
I will update? the web page and the youtube videos as he adds more to it. He is looking for the best priced transfer switch and once he installs it then he will disconnect from the grid.

  • nehockc says:

    Webpage is up again.?

  • nehockc says:

I am in the middle of a move from Atlanta GA to Crossville TN.

I will be getting the server up within the next couple of weeks!!

Monday my Dad is connecting the generator to the gasifier and I will be filming more and uploading the videos as soon as I get them? available….

  • xINJUNx says:

tried the web address u give here it doesn`t work,am looking foward to seeing more, any? clues as to why ur web page can`t be accessed thnx

  • CaptainFailmore says:

Wow, that’s a lot more impressive than the figures in the FEMA book. The original FEMA publication claims that 20 pounds of wood is roughly equal to one gallon of gasoline. That’s an exciting figure if it holds up to experimentation.

With that engine, you’re looking at being able to cover almost all of your daily household electricity needs with two hours of operation at 10 kW. (20 kWh) How many pounds of fuel that takes? would determine its viability as a backstop or primary generator.

  • nehockc says:

This is yet to be determined – the generator is ready to be mounted and connected and I will post that information – my father ( switched midstream to building outdoor woodburning furnace to heat the house ) he has finished the woodfurnace and it is working perfectly and now he should be going back to the woodgas gasifier project and connect up the generator – I will post? results – but according to calculations – 5 gallons of waste = 1 gallon gasoline.

  • CaptainFailmore says:

    Interesting.

Also, you say that the generator is attached? to a 10 kilowatt generator. Can you say how many pounds of fuel go into the system per hour of operation?

  • nehockc says:

These should be acceptable as well as long as they are chopped up as fine? as possible – the input my father is using is 1 inch by appx 1/4:” thick blocks – so leaves / fodder / paper =- just about anykind of wood product can be used

  • CaptainFailmore says:

Here’s a question I’ve been meaning to ask someone – anyone – who has experience with gasifiers.

Are sticks, leaves, lawn clippings, and paper wastes acceptable as inputs? I see that you’re using wood shavings (which are denser than leaf litter and most paper products) as fuel. I’m curious as to whether or not cover crops or agriculture residues (think leftover cornstalks) could be produced yearly as a? store of fuel. (As opposed to, say, coppicing trees.)

  • JAROSLAVAGINA says:

damn good engines. it’ll run for ever. and if you get a tar build up, its easy? as hell to clean. just pull the head off, clean her out, and go. beautiful engines.

@dmabry12 No better than everyone else? Lets see, a 15-1 regular season, MVP in Aaron Rodgers and defending Champions. Sounds like enough to? warrant the top tier.

  • dmabry12 says:

@wolfbabygirl2011 Packer fans are no more owners than any other team’s fans. Only difference is you have a piece of paper that gives you absolutely nothing but a hole in the wallet and a fancy sheet of paper. Get? real… Packers are NOT better than everyone else or they would be playing in the NFC championship game.

  • TheNiceGuyOfJapan says:

@KellyThundercloud Seriously Giants? The best? team in the NFL can’t even beat the Giants?

  • tyguy0256 says:

I work my ass off to get famous on youtube, but it’s impossible to make it if no one
